As some of you probably know (from my www.xanga.com/cutiepieStephanie site) of the currently condition my mother is going through, every week we see the doctor at least twice (that is a good thing, sometimes we have to see him everyday consecutively, sometimes we see him twice a day O.O) but besides the point. I have been there enough to get use to the settings of the office, and what I had discovered is that a lot of people’s style of clothing describe how they are, what they are, where they are from. For example, I had an encounter with a Chinese guy who grew up in Thailand, he had these sort of Thai style clothing on… I thought… wait.. he’s Chinese, with a Chinese last name… why is he dressed so… Thai-ish? another patient who was a Chinese girl, I saw but did not know, but from the way she dressed, I could tell her hang-out is in Pacific Mall mainly from her hair style all the way to her purse to her boots, they are all Fobbish Pacific Mall style. Another patient, who I suspect came from Europe had on a European suit with elegant high heels, I knew my pre-judgement was right when her relative came to her and started speaking Italian to her, while another lady, who I suspected she was from Eastern Europe because of the style she wore her clothes in, spoke to her daughter in Hungarian.

Here I really want to ask, does your clothing styles define who YOU are?

lately, I have fallen to love Emily Adam’s art work, her style is elegant yet simple, but posh at the same time, so beautiful

However I wonder, who the heck could fit in the dresses she drew or the shoes she create? is she trying to promote and encourage anorexia here? any who, I still love them I can’t wear them, but they are still gorgeous to look at

I use to think she was pretty, she was definitely awesome for quite some while…

this is more about her (all info was taken from her wikipedia page):

*she is one of the Taiwan’s top supermodels in terms of popularity and pay;
*She studied at the University of Toronto where she majored in Western Art History and Economics;
*She is one of the most recognized Supermodels in Taiwan.
*This could be because she is relatively tall at 174cm, and only weighs 53kg. She also has a breast size of 34D
*Chiling was scouted on the streets when she was 15.
*She was in attendance at the Chanel International Show in 1999.

When I first heard of her, I thought she was gorgeous, she had manners, she was so polite, she was so elegant. I really looked up to her as somewhat of a role model.

But as I learned more about her, I learned to hate her, as pretty as she is, as popular as she is, as rich as she is (she came from quite a wealthy family) her style of clothing is disgusting. She has a fantasy to show off her boobs, in any picture… in my opinion, shee has turned from elegant to cheap.  (the picture below is definately not a good example… but I assume you get the point)

I think she had turned from someone who is classy with high education to some what of a slut.

many would perhaps say that this is her job, but as popular, famous, rich, and gorgerous as her, must she dress so outregous?

just sharing my two cents

Have you’ve noticed how people nowadays wear boots: when its warm, when its cold, when it snowing, when its raining, even when its even sunny. But as I talk, people also wear them in Spring, Fall, and Summer. I just find this TOTALLY ridiculous!

To me, this is just some stupid fashion trend which everyone is falling into, like those disco bellbottoms in the sixties, I could just imagine people 20 or even 40 years from now saying: Look at those ridiculous people of the 2000s, all of them had boots. It is such an outrage how people have no brains! I do not see why this fashion trend is so popular, especially in places like Tokyo, Hong Kong, Korea, California, and other warm places where boots are not a necessity for “la winter life”. However, I do not disagree that they do look good (some of them) but as people are matching them outrageously, that is when I feel my temper rising. People would wear dress pants (BLACK dress pants) with a formal classy pretty trendy top, in my opinion, it would definitely fit so well with heels or some pretty trendy chic looking shoes, however, those no brain people would them roll up the dress pants and stuff a pair of casual, WHITE (or beige or whatever colour boots they have) The boots themselves look good with… casual clothing.

My advice to those people: if you do not know HOW to mix and match clothing, don’t bother.

This gives me a dilemma: Should I wear boots? if people see me with boots, would they think of me equally as inimaginative as those people without a mind?

If I don’t wear boots… it means this trend is affecting me, causing me to change my ways.

Or should I just don’t care and just let myself do as I please and ignore what everyone things?

sigh~ so darn confusing!
